Operating since 2009 in the vital heart of Bologna, Ritoccando is the place where creativity, technique and passion give life every day to spectacular images with a strong emotional impact. We collaborate with advertising agencies, companies, artists and photographers to improve the quality of images, or often to create them from scratch.
Our projects range from simple color control to complex multi-image compositions in which scenes, subjects and extra elements are skillfully combined to create new works for print, communications, advertising and social media.
Giulio Pedaci
Born in Salento (Apulia), I live and work in Bologna where I graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Maestro Pozzati's class. The next step was approaching technology first as an advertising graphic designer and later as a photo post-producer, a job I have been doing for almost 30 years working with big brands and international companies, professional photographers and communication agencies. I teach Adobe Photoshop at all levels in courses and workshops, to industry professionals and photographers. I have collaborated with specialized magazines and websites as an expert in the field. The completion of my professional figure comes when I have managed to combine technology with art.
Thanks to in-depth knowledge and constant use of Photoshop, I create my paintings by painting the subjects entirely on the computer, using one or more photos that I appropriately manipulate to create the backgrounds. My works are created in very high definition. The music that inspired each work and whispers in the viewer's ear the story I want to tell, can be heard in my videos and in the displays of my paintings thanks to QRcode technology.
